Texmaco Rail & Engineering has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for signalling equipment and gears for the proposed 5th and 6th line construction between Borivali (BVI) and Virar (VR) in the Mumbai Suburban area. 

To be implemented under the MUTP-IIIA project, the scope of work covers the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the equipment . Issued by Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVCL), the contract is valued at Rs 258.62 crore. This project is a significant step in improving Mumbai’s suburban railway network, enhancing connectivity, and easing congestion between these crucial stations. 

Texmaco Rail’s expertise in rail infrastructure has positioned it to deliver the necessary signaling solutions for the expansion of the suburban network. The work is expected to contribute significantly to the modernization of the rail infrastructure in Mumbai.
