Texmaco Rail & Engineering has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for signalling equipment and gears for the proposed 5th and 6th line construction between Borivali (BVI) and Virar (VR) in the Mumbai Suburban area.
To be implemented under the MUTP-IIIA project, the scope of work covers the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the equipment . Issued by Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVCL), the contract is valued at Rs 258.62 crore. This project is a significant step in improving Mumbai’s suburban railway network, enhancing connectivity, and easing congestion between these crucial stations.
