Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by Engineers India for an order valued at Rs 277.02 crore.
The scope of the contract involves the supply and execution of heater package works for the propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit, which is part of the PDH Polypropylene (PP) plant ethane and propane handling facilities at Dahej, Gujarat. This package is critical for the PDH unit, which plays a pivotal role in converting propane into propylene, a key feedstock for polypropylene production.
The heater package work is expected to be essential for the efficient operation of the PDH plant, ensuring the required thermal performance for the dehydrogenation process. Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions, known for its expertise in thermal and process engineering solutions, will be responsible for delivering the complete heater package in accordance with the project specifications and timelines.
