Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Mathura and announced a Rs 30,000 crore Master Plan for the holistic development of the Braj region on Janmashtami.
The CM also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 118 projects worth Rs 646 crore, including beautification of Parikrama paths, kund restoration, connectivity, and water conservation. He emphasised India as a confluence of spirituality and modern development, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.
The Chief Minister stressed that the government is committed to respecting saints’ sentiments and enriching Braj. He added that the Yamuna’s uninterrupted flow, like the Ganga’s revival, remains a priority under the double-engine government.
