UniHealth Hospitals, a global healthcare provider with operations across Africa, has announced the launch of its second healthcare facility in India—a 200-bed state-of-the-art multi-specialty tertiary care hospital in Nashik, Maharashtra.
Scheduled for commissioning at the beginning of 2026, the UMC Hospital, Nashik, is envisioned as a next-generation healthcare destination equipped with advanced medical technology, modern infrastructure, and comprehensive speciality services to serve North Maharashtra and nearby regions.
The Nashik facility will feature advanced ICUs, a cardiac catheterisation lab, four modular operating theatres including a robotic OT, and diverse in-patient accommodations. Services will include diagnostics, radiology, rehabilitation, and 24x7 emergency care. This expansion aligns with UniHealth’s integrated healthcare growth strategy, complementing the soon-to-open 52-bedded UMC Hospital in Navi Mumbai (October 2025), and a 20-bed UMC Health Center in Mwanza, Tanzania. Together, these projects reinforce UniHealth’s commitment to accessible, affordable, world-class healthcare.
