Union Minister of Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, inaugurated Zetwerk Electronics' new manufacturing facility in Bengaluru on 07 February, 2026.

The 1,00,000 sq. ft. plant will cater to the aerospace, defence, automotive, and IT hardware sectors, strengthening both domestic and export-led manufacturing capabilities. Once fully operational, the facility will employ over 1,200 skilled professionals. Zetwerk’s new plant is equipped with state-of-the-art Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Final Assembly Test and Pack (FATP) lines to deliver high-reliability systems at scale.

The company aims to reduce import dependence and strengthen India’s supply chains while contributing to national security. It will provide end-to-end lifecycle support, from design and engineering to manufacturing, for critical electronics sub-assemblies.
