Unitech is planning to set up a
international branded five-star hotel to be implemented by 'Bengal Unitech' - a
special purpose vehicle floated by Unitech for projects in West Bengal.
The proposed 220-room five star hotel
will be coming up on the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) plot
on the Eastern Metropolitan By-pass.
The company has already received
proposals from four-five leading international brands including Radisson and JW
Marriott.
Land for the project has been
finalised and
construction work is likely to commence by May 2006.
