Vedanta has invited expression of interest (EoI) from consultancy firms to conduct a detailed feasibility study for setting up integrated aluminium facilities in Odisha.

The scope of the study for the consultant or firm includes market analysis, evaluation of technologies for both alumina refinery and aluminium smelter, validation of project locations, and assessment of logistics, infrastructure, and utility requirements. The consultant will also be responsible for recommending a suitable site based on technical and commercial viability, preparing capital and operational expenditure estimates, and submitting a comprehensive report that encompasses all critical aspects of the project.

The proposed aluminium facilities are expected to leverage Odisha’s rich mineral resources and established industrial base. The selected consultant must provide a roadmap that aligns with global benchmarks for efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness in aluminium production.

The closing date for submission of EoI is 30 September, 2025.
