Vikram Solar, a leading player in India's solar photovoltaic (PV) sector, has inaugurated its advanced Vallam manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, adding five GW to its production capacity.
With this expansion, the company now boasts a total capacity of 9.5 GW, cementing its role in India's solar future. The Vallam plant features cutting-edge automation, including robotics, material-handling systems, and automated packaging, ensuring high precision and reliability in production. Spanning 27,000 sq. mtrs., it is built on TOPCon technology and designed for future upgrades to HJT and support for M10, G12, and G12R formats.
The new facility guarantees high-quality, durable modules with reduced failure rates and enhanced energy yields. It strengthens Vikram Solar’s presence in Tamil Nadu’s growing clean energy ecosystem and complements the company’s existing Oragadam site and upcoming Gangaikondan facility.
