Vikram Solar has won a 326.625 MW solar module supply order from Gujarat Industries Power Company (GIPCL) for the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, a major renewable infrastructure initiative in Gujarat. This deal marks a significant milestone for the Kolkata-based solar module manufacturer and brings its total contribution to India’s renewable energy capacity to approx. 1.3 GW.
The modules, known for their high efficiency, are scheduled for delivery in FY26, and will support the government’s ongoing drive towards energy security and long-term sustainability. With this latest order, Vikram Solar’s cumulative supply to the RE Park alone has reached around 577 MW, further deepening the strategic partnership between the two entities.
The Khavda Renewable Energy Park is one of India’s flagship green energy ventures in the sector. The company, which specialises in photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing, has a global footprint spanning 39 countries, with a focus on high-performance solar technologies.
Vikram Solar’s expanding order book and deepening collaboration with state-run energy companies position it as a key player in meeting the country’s renewable energy targets, especially as it moves towards gigawatt-scale solar deployment.
