The West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBHIDCO) has invited bids for the construction of the Mahakal Mahatirtha project in Matigara, Siliguri, Darjeeling.

This significant project aims to develop the Mahakal Mahatirtha, a religious and cultural site, and will span a 24-month timeline for completion from the commencement date. The work will include various construction activities to create the infrastructure necessary for the site, which will be an important landmark in the region.

The defect liability period for the project is 36 months, starting from the date of complete handover of all assets. The contractor is responsible for rectifying any defects within this period, which will be counted from the date of work handover by WBHIDCO, whichever is later.

The last date to submit the bid is 16 February, 2026.
