WSB Real Estate Partners, a fund manager, aims to deploy Rs 500 crore in FY26 and is currently identifying new investment opportunities. The company has invested over Rs 300 crore in three Mumbai-based developers - Notandas Realty, Vijay Khetan Group, and Bagasrawala Corporation, through its newly launched ‘Mumbai Opportunities Strategy.’
The firm specialises in early-stage pre-approval deals, which banks and NBFCs cannot undertake but are permitted for alternative investment funds. The funds have been raised from multiple investors. WSB follows a structured equity investment model, targeting an internal rate of return (IRR) exceeding 25 percent.
“Post-Covid, Mumbai real estate is on a sustainable upward trajectory. Infrastructure is going to provide impetus to quality housing. We see good opportunities in pre-approval stage funding to projects,” Managing Partner at WSB, Vimal Jangla stated. He also highlighted that tax concessions in the Budget are expected to positively impact mid-market housing in cities like Bengaluru, and Mumbai.
