Welspun One Logistics Parks (WOLP) has acquired two prime land parcels in Bengaluru worth Rs 2,150 crore (USD 250 million, including land cost) as part of its expansion drive in South India.
The company purchased 51 acres in Hoskote and 56 acres in Devanahalli, offering a combined development potential of over six million sq. ft. With these acquisitions, WOLP’s total South India footprint has surpassed 260 acres. The Hoskote project will host a Proxima-category park targeting 3PLs, FMCG, and retail sectors, supported by upcoming connectivity projects such as the Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) and the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway.
Meanwhile, the Devanahalli site, strategically located near Airport City and the proposed MultiModal Logistics Park (MMLP), will see the development of a Proxima Plus park catering to electronics, aerospace, EVs, and pharmaceuticals, with advanced plug-and-play facilities and technology infrastructure. “These acquisitions are more than just land transactions, they represent our commitment to building the backbone of South India’s new-age supply chains,” said Anshul Singhal, Managing Director, Welspun One Logistics Parks.
