YEIDA has issued a letter of intent to Neenjas Electric for a 20,000 sq. mtrs. plot in Sector 8D, Greater Noida, to establish a mega facility focused on electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions and solar power banks.
The company will invest approx. Rs 169 crore in the project, which will manufacture onboard and non-onboard EV chargers, IP-rated chargers, AC-DC power converters, and solar energy storage solutions tailored to Indian conditions. YEIDA CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh said the allotment will strengthen India’s EV infrastructure and give a boost to the ‘Make in India’ initiative. The project is expected to generate local employment and position Greater Noida as a hub for green technology and renewable energy manufacturing.
Its proximity to the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar will reduce logistics costs and enhance export potential, making the investment attractive for long-term industrial growth. The facility will also support India’s shift toward sustainable energy solutions and self-reliance in EV infrastructure.
