ZF Group has formally entered India’s powertrain and next-generation mobility market by securing significant test system orders. Among the landmark achievements is the supply of India’s first 440 KW differential unit test bench.
This high-performance system features a 3E dyno setup with a direct shaft connection to the device under test—eliminating the need for intermediate gearboxes or chains—thereby enhancing efficiency and testing precision. In addition to the differential unit test bench, ZF has also received orders for eight tyre test benches, which include endurance, high-speed, rolling resistance, and end-of-line testing systems.
These advanced systems are destined for leading Indian tyre manufacturers and are expected to bolster research and development capabilities as well as production quality assurance. According to the company, the new systems will help improve the quality, safety, and performance of powertrain and tyre components, supporting India’s goal of achieving safer and more sustainable mobility.
