Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) topped the list of awarding agencies, finalising 27 contracts worth Rs 17,700.49 crore.2. It was followed by the Amaravati Development Corporation, which awarded 38 contracts totaling Rs 11,417.95 crore.3. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) secured third place, awarding 31 contracts with a cumulative value of Rs 8,856.66 crore.Contract Awardees:Out of 1,706 firms that collectively secured 2,290 project contracts during the quarter:1. NBCC (India) emerged as the top awardee, bagging 22 contracts.2. KEC International followed closely, securing 17 contracts, highlighting its continued strength across infrastructure segments.OVERSEAS CONTRACTS Indian companies continued to expand their global footprint in Q1/FY26, securing 17 overseas contracts across a range of sectors including Power Distribution, Roadways, Berths & Jetties, Petroleum, Oil & Gas, and Solar-based Power. These contracts, awarded in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Guyana, South Africa, and the USA, underscore India%u2019s rising prominence and technical expertise in global infrastructure development.Notable overseas contracts include:1. KEC International secured a prestigious contract for the design, supply, and installation of 380 kV overhead transmission lines in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).2. Ashoka Buildcon was awarded a contract for the East Bank%u2013East Coast Road Linkage Project Phase 2 (Eccles to Providence) in Guyana.3. ITD Cementation India bagged a significant contract for jetty construction works for the Ruwais LNG Project in Abu Dhabi.4.
