Agrawal Infracon was awarded a Rs 5,729 crore contract for the construction of the Guwahati Ring Road, including the stretch from A. Chandrapur to Sonapur (km 55.54), B. Jayanagar Underpass (km 163.237) to Jorabat (km 171.000) of NH-27, and improvement of the four-to-six-lane section from km 1097.150 to 184.700 in Assam under the DBFOT (Toll) model.2. NKC Projects secured a Rs 900.85 cror e contract for the four-laning of a greenfield corridor from Suara (Sasaram) to Garhani (SH-12) - Package-1 of the Patna-ArrahSasaram corridor (NH-119A) in Bihar, under the hybrid annuity mode (HAM).3. Roadways Solution India bagged a Rs 682 crore contract for the four-laning of the Kolhapur-Sangli section of NH166 from Sangli Phata (km 0.00) to Chokak (km 7.738) and Chokak (km 145.300) to Ankali (km 171.171) in Maharashtra, under HAM.4. R & C Infraengineers was awarded a Rs 577 crore contract for the construction of a two-lane paved shoulder greenfield bypass connecting Lalganj Ajhara-Mohanganj and Raniganj on the Raebareli-Jaunpur section (design km 0.000 to 53.177) of NH-31 in Uttar Pradesh, also under HAM.In addition to the NHAI mega contract, Afcons Infrastructure securing two contracts worth Rs 4,787.20 crore from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) for the construction of accesscontrolled stretches of the Pune Ring Road (East) in Maharashtra, under the EPC mode. The first, Package PRR E5, spans 9.565 km from km 72.335 (Valati, Taluka Haveli) to km 81.900 (Sonori, Taluka Purandar), while the second, Package PRR E7, covers 6.240 km from km 97.900 (Garade, Taluka Purandar) to km 104.140 (Shiware, Taluka Bhor), both located in Pune district.The Railways sector recorded a strong performance in Q1/FY26, with 48 new contracts finalised, collectively valued at Rs 16,872.25 crore.Some of the key contracts awarded during the quarter include:1. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC): Bagged a Rs 5,870-crore operation and maintenance (O&M) contract from the Chennai Metro Rail (CMRL). These include Chennai Metro Rail Phase II -Corridor-3 ((Madhavaram Milk Colony to Siruseri SIPCOT-II Metro), Corridor- 4 (Lighthouse to Poonamallee Bypass) and Corridor-5 (Madhavaram Milk Colony to Sholinganallur), including maintenance depots at Madhavaram, Poonamallee & Semmancheri.2. Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon in consortium with Siemens and Siemens Mobility GmbH): Awarded a Rs 4,140.06-crore contract by the National High Speed Rail Corporation(NHSRCL) for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, overall integration, testing & commissioning, and comprehensive maintenance of signaling & train control system, telecommunication system, and operation control centre system on Mumbai Ahmedabad HighSpeed Rail Project, under Package MAHSR-S-1..3. Dilip Buildcon: Secured a Rs 1,341 crore contract from the Konkan Railway Corporation for the construction of a twin tube unidirectional tunnel (two-lanes in each traffic direction) in the Kozhikode and Wayanad districts of Kerala on engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) basis including four-lane approach road for direct connectivity Between Anakkampoyil-Kalladi-Meppadi from Km 0.460 to Km 8.735 (Project Length=8.275 km)-Package-II.The Power Distribution sector witnessed robust activity in Q1/FY26, with the finalisation of 172 new contracts totaling Rs 15,979.39 crore. A standout contract, during the quarter was awarded to BSR Infratech India, which secured a Rs 1,082.44 crore deal from the Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh.
