The estimated value of the work is Rs 2,185.67 crore.Another noteworthy tender worth Rs 1,497.87 crore was issued by the Northeast Frontier Railway for the construction of 2nd rail cum road bridge over River Brahmaputra including viaduct, retaining walls, embankment and minor bridges including track work, OHE work, signalling and telecom work, commissioning of stations and general work between Agthori and Kamakhya station from km 393.980 to km 401.120 in Assam.The Water Supply sector floated 667 tenders worth Rs 15,031.46 crore during the month. The largest tender of the month issued by the Public Health Engineering Department, Rajasthan (PHED) for supplying drinking water for 1,473 villages will be implemented in two packages under HAM basis. Package-1- WTP, IPS-1 to IPS-6, CPS-01 to 19, including complete works of these CPS, CD -VD & civil works for 93 villages of Chhoti Sadri block of Pratapgarh, 707 villages of 7 blocks of Chittorgarh district.Package-2- coverage for 371 villages of 3 blocks of Udaipur district and 302 village of 4 blocks of Rajsamand district from IPS-2 Mata Kheri IPS-7 Dharta,IPS-8 Mavli,IPS-9 Mehanduriyai, IPS-10 Dum Khera, IPS-11 Banda and rising mains from trunk main to CPS-20 to CPS-53 including complete works of these CPS, cluster and village distribution with various civil works)The scope of work also includes operation and maintenance (O&M) for a period of 10 years, including a oneyear defect liability period. The aggregate value of the tender was Rs 2,386.57 crore.The Power Distribution sector saw the publishing of 410 tenders worth Rs 13,051.88 crore. The Gujarat Energy Transmission Corpn. issued tenders for design, supply, erection, testing & commissioning of 765kV D/C Som Pipaliya (Saurashtra)- Vataman line having route length 118.186 km with Hexa ACSR zebra conductor (WZ-5) in Gujarat on turnkey basis under GEC-II Scheme. The estimated value of the work is Rs 900.58 crore.The Irrigation sector floated 473 tenders worth Rs 6,075.19 crore during May 2025.
