Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a contract worth Rs 356.85 crore from NMDC. The contract is for design, engineering and construction of a five million cu mtr reservoir water treatment plant of 8,600 cu mtr per hour, and distribution network for NMDC’s upcoming 3.0 million tonne per annum steel plant, NMDC Steel, at Naganar, Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh). The two companies inked the contract on 23 January 2015, at Hyderabad.
NMDC has also signed a contract worth Rs 314.58 crore with a consortium of Megha Engineering & Infrastructure and Koya & Company Construction for design, engineering & construction of intake well of capacity 10,000 cu mtr per hour on river Sabri and cross country pipeline of length 34 km for the Jagdalpur steel plant.
