PSL has bagged a Rs.255 crore contract for supply
of spiral welded steel pipes for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation's Delhi-Mundra
pipeline project. PSL expects to complete the order by end-March 2006, a month
ahead of the scheduled 21 April 2006 (ten months from 22 June 2005, the date on
which the order was placed.)
PSL would be supply around 7.35 lakh metres of
pipes that would be manufactured at its Kandla unit in Gujarat.
PSL (formerly PSL Holdings Ltd) is India's
largest producer of spiral welded pipes with an installed capacity of 10.25 lakh
tpa.
