Maharashtra Airport Development Co has
placed an order valued at Rs.142.36 crore on a 50:50 joint venture between PBA
Infrastructure and Sadbhav Engineering. The order involves construction of roads
in the proposed multi-modal international passenger and cargo hub project at
Nagpur (also known as MIHAN), being promoted by MADC. The joint venture will be known as "PBA-Sadbhav
Joint Venture".
The order, placed by MADC's selection
committee, is subject to the approval of the board of directors of MADC.
In another independent development,
PBA Infrastructure also bagged a contract valued at Rs.4.29 crore for training
of the Mithi River from CST Road to Powai (designated as Group No.1 in the Mithi
River project nomenclature). It also won an order worth Rs.2.35 crore for
periodic renewal of Panvel-Mahad Panji Road on NH-17. The order was placed by
National Highways Division (Pen, Raigad).
