On 7 April 2006, IJM Corporation
Berhad and IJM (India) Infrastructure joint venture received a letter of
acceptance from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to part-design and construct an elevated viaduct and three elevated stations (GTB Enclave, Jhilmil and Dilshad
Garden) on Shahdara-Dilshad Garden Corridor of Phase II in New Delhi.
The contract is valued at Rs.89.3
crore with completion scheduled within 24 months.
The company had previously completed
the construction of elevated viaduct from 0.62km. to 8.00km. on Barakhamba Road-Connaught
Place-Dwarka Section for Line No.3 (Contract - 3C21R) for DMRC.
IJM (India) Infrastructure is a 97.3
per cent subsidiary of IJMII (Mauritius) is a wholly owned subsidiary of IJM
Investments, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
