Simplex Infrastructure has bagged an
order valued at Rs.171 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam for a railway doubling
project in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to ProjectsToday, senior officials from
Simplex stated that the contract involves doubling of railway track of around
150 km on the Gooty-Pullampet section in Andhra Pradesh. The railway line comes
under the purview of South Central Railway. The cash contract is targeted for
completion in 30 months, which would be around January 2009.
