Punj Lloyd on 7 November 2006
announced the winning of two contracts worth Rs.1,163 crore from Indian Oil Corporation for its Haldia
refinery. The contracts pertain to:
- Hydrocracker unit with a capacity
of 1.7 million tpa. [contract value: Rs.864 crore]
- Hydrogen generation unit with a
capacity of 70,000 tpa [contract value: Rs.299 crore]
Work on the hydrocracker unit and
hydro generation unit is scheduled for completion within 33 months and 24 months,
respectively.
With these orders, the order backlog
for the Punj Lloyd group stands at Rs.12,590 crore, according to a
statement issued by Punj Lloyd.
