Aaress Iron & Steel is likely to
commence work on 2.5 million tpa integrated steel project along with 120 MW
coal based power plant at Halawart in Koppal district of Karnataka by August
2007.
The company is in the process of
acquiring land and appointing civil and electrical contractor for the
project. The project would entail an investment of Rs.4,000 crore.
The company, part of MSPL Group
promoted by Baldota family is also actively into mining businees and also
owing and operating wind farms in the state of Karnataka and Maharashtra.
