Delhi-based DCM Shriram Consolidated (DSCL)
has bagged an order worth Rs.700 crore order from  Himachal Pradesh State
Electricity Board for setting up a 108 MW Chhatru hydroelectric power project in
the Lahul Spiti district on Chandra river on build-operate-transfer basis.
The project involves design and
construction of a 19-metre high barrage, creating a live storage of water. DSCL
will develop, finance, construct, commission and operate the Chhatru project for
a concession period of 40 years.
