Bangalore based ABB India bagged an
order worth Rs.312 crore from Delhi International Airport for supply of
electrical infrastructure for the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport's
new terminal (T3) under construction.
The order includes design, supply and
commissioning of electrical products 11 kV panels, distribution transformer in
addition to cables, wires and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. The
new terminal will cover an area of 5,20,000 sq.m with a capacity to handle 25
million passengers and is scheduled to be operational by March 2010.
