The
Linde-Samsung consortium has bagged a contract worth Rs.6,800 crore from Oil and
Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for a dual feed cracker unit at its mega
petrochemical project at Dahej in
Gujarat.
The Linde-Samsung consortium includes Linde AG of Germany and Samsung
Engineering of
South Korea.
ONGC
Petro-additions (OPaL), an SPV set up by ONGC for setting up a petrochemical
project at Dahej, signed the lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) contract with the Linde-Samsung
consortium on 10 February 2009. The scope of work includes building an ethylene
plant.
