Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has bagged an order worth Rs 688 crore
for Package MC3 of 1200 MW Punatsangchhu-I Hydro Electric Project in Bhutan from
Punatsangchhu-I Hydro Electric Project Authority.
The scope of work includes the construction of a Head Race Tunnel (from Surge
Shaft end), Surge Shaft, Butterfly Valve Chamber, Pressure Shafts, Power House
and Tail Race Tunnel including Hydro Mechanical Works. The project is scheduled
to be completed in 66 months.
