Nicco Corporation (Nicco Corp), Project Division, has secured two turnkey project orders from Tata Steel and SAIL totalling Rs 94.4 crore.

The first order worth Rs 58.2 crore is for the design, manufacture, supply, and installation of Recirculating Water Systems for New Steelmelt Shop-I D-3 at Tata Steel, Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), for their three million tpa expansion project. The scope of work includes basic design, detail engineering, manufacture, supply, installation, civil works and performance test of the entire recirculating water system. The completion schedule for the project is 14 months from the date of contract.

The second order is for design, manufacture, supply, and installation of Turbo Blower Package for Cold Blast demand of blast furnace at SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant (Jharkhand). This order will be executed in consortium with Sheyang Blower Works, China, and Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding, Japan. The total contract price is approx Rs 36.2 crore plus $8.16 million (approx Rs 39.98 crore) of which Nicco Corp's portion is Rs 36.2 crore. The scope of work of the consortium involves basic design, detail engineering, manufacture, supply, installation, civil works and performance test of the Turbo-Blower system. The completion schedule for the project is 21 months from the date of contract.
