WaterHealth India has been awarded concession by the Andhra Pradesh
Government to run community water systems in five districts of the state on BOOT
basis.
As a part of its scope of work, the company is expected to provide community
water systems in at least one village per mandal in the districts of Medak,
Rangareddy, East Godavari, West Godavari and Srikakulam covering over 220
mandals.
WaterHealth is to create necessary infrastructure, maintain and run the
WaterHealth Centers (water purification plants) for the next 10 years. A total
of more than 220 Centers are to be installed.
