Alchemist Hotels & Resorts (AHR), a subsidiary of Alchemist, proposes to come
up with a mid-market hotel at Kufri, a hill station near Shimla, Himachal
Pradesh, by April 2011.
AHR is setting up a luxury hotel at the same location which will be
operational by April 2012. Both these properties will have a total room
inventory of 100.
Meanwhile, the company is developing three hotels in Pushkar (Rajasthan),
Chandigarh and Ropar by March 2013 at a total outlay of Rs 500 crore. The
company has acquired land at different locations and the properties are at
various stages of development.
