The Union Ministry of Rural Development has released grant of Rs 120 crore
for construction of rural roads in Bihar under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana
(PMGSY).
Bihar Rural Road Development Agency (BRRDA) is executing the works taken up
under PMGSY in the state. PMGSY envisages connectivity to all habitations with a
population of 500 people and above in the rural areas and about 250 people and
above in respect of the hilly states, tribal areas and desert areas through good
and all weather roads.
