The northern carriageway of the Bandra Worli Sea Link is expected to be
opened for traffic on 24 March 2010.
Ashok Chavan, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and Chhagan Bhujbal, Deputy
Chief Minister, are to inaugurate the four-laned carriageway which is 4.7 km
long. HCC completed the project a few days back and the sea link is now ready.
The four-lane south carriageway was inaugurated and opened for public
transport on 1 July 2009. The entire project has been set up at a cost of Rs
1,640 crore.
