Rockland Hospital, in association with International Finance Corporation, is
setting up a 60-room ancillary hub for geriatric care at its upcoming 250-bed
multi-specialty hospital at Manesar in Haryana. Geriatric care is for elderly
patients who cannot take care of themselves.
The company is expected to invest Rs 250 crore in the project with a
provision for scaling up to Rs 400 crore. The hub is to have other facilities
like rehabilitation services, a gymnasium and swimming pool.
The centre is slated to become operational by July 2011.
