New Delhi based Cocoberry plans to increase number of its outlets from
existing 11 to 50 by March 2011 at an investment of Rs 120 crore.
Investment for the proposed expansion is likely to come through internal
accruals, debt instruments (bank loans) and store franchising.
The company which has about 11 operational outlets in Delhi NCR and Mumbai
plans to expand its reach in cities like Chandigarh, Bangalore, Jaipur
(Rajasthan), Jalandhar, Amritsar and Ludhiana (Punjab), Pune (Maharashtra),
Chennai, Kolkata.
New stores are likely to be launched in Jaipur and Bangalore within the first
quarter of next fiscal and about two-three outlets are in the pipeline for
launch in Chandigarh. Further, it is planning to launch two more outlets in
Delhi soon and plan to take the figure to 18-20 outlets in Delhi NCR by October
2010.
