ACME Solar Holdings has successfully commissioned an additional 16 MW of its 100 MW wind power project in Surendaranagar, Gujarat, bringing the total operational capacity of the project to 44 MW.
The wind farm is being developed in phases, with the first phase having commissioned 28 MW in October 2025. This increase in capacity boosts ACME Solar's overall operational capacity to 2,934 MW. The project, financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC), has been granted an extension for its scheduled commercial operation date (SCOD) by the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission, now set for 05 March, 2026.
The power generated from the project will be sold through a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam.
