ACME Solar has commenced operations of 68 MW out of its total 100 MW wind power project in Surendranagar, Gujarat.
The project is being executed in phases through its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy. The electricity generated from this project will be sold to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA). Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has financed the project, which adds to ACME Solar’s diverse renewable energy portfolio. The remaining capacity of the project will be added soon.
ACME Solar, based in Gurugram, Haryana, currently has an operational capacity of 2,958 MW and is working towards a construction capacity of 4,562 MW, including 15 GWh of battery energy storage systems.
