AMDD Foods is setting up a rice mill at Baala Chack village in Amritsar district of Punjab.
Sources from the company disclosed to ProjectsToday (PT), that the company was setting up a rice mill with a capacity of 1,12,320 tpa in Punjab. The project cost of Rs 50 crore will be funded through bank loan and internal accruals. The company has achieved financial closure for the project.
AMDD Foods has appointed Munish & Associates as its consultant, and Siemens and Karan Boilers, Ambala, as machinery suppliers for the project. Earlier, the company had acquired 32 acre of land for the project.
Currently, work on the project is underway with completion scheduled for May 2014.
