Advanced Medicare & Research Institute (AMRI)
plans to set up a 500-bed hospital in Rajarhat Newtown in Kokata in
collaboration with a foreign hospital. The project will entail an investment of
Rs.150 crore.
The company also has large investment plan of
Rs.300 crore over the next 3 to 4 years. This includes setting up a modern Mother
& Pediatric Care Hospital on E M Bypass for which land has already been
acquired. Construction is likely to commence shortly.
AMRI will be the first hospital in Eastern India
to provide the complete portfolio in cancer cure-surgical, medical and radiation
oncology.
