Adani Cement, in collaboration with Group associate PSP Infra, has achieved a world record by completing the largest religious temple raft foundation casting at Umiya Dham near Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
This engineering milestone involved a continuous 54-hour operation, utilising 24,100 cubic metres of ECOMaxX M45 grade low-carbon concrete—Adani Cement’s proprietary sustainable mix. Supported by 26 RMX plants and 285+ transit mixers, the feat was powered by a highly synchronized logistics network, over 3,600 tonne of high-performance cement, and more than 600 skilled workers and experts working in shifts. The project was meticulously executed to ensure uninterrupted pouring, avoiding cold joints while maintaining mix consistency and temperature control.
The company has a history of delivering landmark projects, including the World One Tower and Chenab Railway Bridge. With Umiya Dham, Adani Cement expands its legacy into spiritual infrastructure, demonstrating its capabilities in scale, precision, and green innovation.
