Amber Enterprises India has committed Rs 200 crore in a phased manner to establish India’s first Quantum Cryogenic Components facility in Amaravati, under the Andhra Pradesh government’s Amaravati Quantum Valley initiative.
The announcement came after a meeting between AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Amber Enterprises Chairman and CEO Jasbir Singh. The project is expected to play a pioneering role in advancing India’s domestic quantum hardware ecosystem by developing cutting-edge cryogenic solutions essential for quantum computing. It aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s vision to transform Amaravati into a global hub for deep-tech industries.
Welcoming the investment, CM Naidu said the initiative strengthens AP’s position as a preferred destination for futuristic industries. Anchored by IBM and TCS Quantum Computer, and supported by the National Quantum Mission, Amaravati Quantum Valley will drive innovation, research, and critical component manufacturing.
