Adani Energy Solutions (AESL) has fully commissioned three transmission schemes in the first quarter (April to June) of FY26, expanding its operational portfolio.
The commissioned projects include two interstate schemes and one intrastate scheme, all secured under the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) framework. The schemes are: Khavda II-A Transmission (355 ckm; — MVA; Gujarat, ISTS) KPSI Transmission (43 ckm; 6,000 MVA; Gujarat, ISTS) Sangod Transmission Service (11 ckm; 1,160 MVA; Rajasthan, InSTS). With this, AESL’s operational transmission network has reached 5,538 ckm of lines and 26,346 MVA of substation capacity, involving a total investment of around Rs.149 billion.
As of 30 June, 2025, AESL has 7,063 ckm of transmission lines and 47,475 MVA of substation capacity under construction, with an estimated investment of about Rs 5,930 crore. The most recent addition is WRNES Talegaon Power Transmission, won under TBCB in Q1/FY26. AESL plans to commission four more schemes by FY26-end, adding 1,613 ckm of lines and 8,000 MVA capacity. Among these, three are ISTS-TBCB and one is an intrastate RTM project leveraging HVDC to supply green energy to Mumbai.
