Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has commissioned 307.4 MW of renewable energy capacity at Khavda in Gujarat, increasing its total operational renewable portfolio to 17,237.2 MW.
The new projects, housed across six stepdown subsidiaries, include a mix of wind, solar, and wind-solar hybrid assets. Commercial generation for these projects is scheduled to begin on 01 January, 2026. This development is part of AGEL's ongoing expansion at Khavda, where it is working on the world’s largest renewable energy plant, with a target of 30,000 MW by 2029. AGEL's operational capacity has grown significantly over the past year, crossing 15,539 MW in June 2025 and reaching 16,486 MW by September 2025.
Additionally, AGEL is expanding into energy storage, with plans to invest Rs 15,000 crore in two pumped storage projects in Assam.
