SEPC, a leading EPC company in India, has won a contract to implement a smart prepaid metering contract in Punjab's Central Zone.
The company has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Telecommunications Consultants India (TCIL). As part of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), the order will be executed on a design, build, finance, own, operate, and transfer (DBFOOT) basis in consortium with Adya Smart Metering. With an estimated value of Rs 313.96 crore, the scope includes the design, deployment, integration, commissioning, and long-term operation and maintenance of advanced metering infrastructure for Punjab State Power Corporation (PSPCL).
This project aims to modernize the metering infrastructure in Punjab, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of power distribution.
