Premier Energies has formed a joint venture with BA Prerna Renewables to enhance its presence in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) sector within the renewable energy sector.
The partnership will be executed through HeliosAnthos Energies, a new entity, where Premier Energies will hold a 51 percent stake and BA Prerna Renewables will own 49 percent. The joint venture aims to take on EPC contracts for solar, wind, and hybrid projects, including standalone battery systems, across India. HeliosAnthos Energies will provide comprehensive EPC solutions, covering aspects such as land acquisition, transmission connectivity, statutory approvals, engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
This move aligns with Premier Energies’ strategy to expand its downstream capabilities, complement its manufacturing strengths, and increase its share in the renewable energy value chain. The joint venture marks a significant step toward strengthening Premier Energies' position in the growing renewable energy market.
