Adani Green Energy, through its subsidiary Adani Green Energy Twenty Five B has entered into a tripartite agreement to supply 20.8 MW of solar-wind hybrid power to Asahi India Glass (AIS) from its Khavda facility in Gujarat.
The power supply will come from a 25 MW solar unit and a 20.8 MW wind unit. In addition to the power agreement, a significant investment deal has been signed, where AIS will subscribe to a minimum 26 percent equity in the project, as required by captive power generation rules. Upon the project's completion, Asahi India Glass will hold 1.22 percent equity in the generator.
This partnership aligns with Adani's strategy to expand in the renewable energy sector.
