Ahluwalia Contracts (India) has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the the development of a new greenfield airport at Bundi, Kota, Rajasthan.
The contract, with a total bid value of Rs 393.03 crore, involves the detailed designing, engineering, procurement, and construction of key airport infrastructure. The work includes the new terminal building, ATC tower, fire station, car parking facilities, and city-side development along with other associated works. The new airport will boost transportation, promote regional connectivity, and enhance the infrastructure in the region. Ahluwalia Contracts will undertake the complete construction work, ensuring high standards of design, safety, and operational efficiency for the future airport.
The new facility by Airports Authority of India is expected to play a significant role in promoting air travel, tourism, and economic growth in the Bundi-Kota region.
