Alpex Solar will set up a 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing plant in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, raising its total capacity to 3.6 GW.
The Rs 110-crore project, funded via internal accruals and credit facilities, is expected to be operational by FY27. This expansion follows a robust Q1/FY26 performance.
The company is also raising Rs 261.16 crore through a preferential allotment, pending shareholder approval. Alpex Solar has secured Rs 1,555.03 crore in FY26 orders, including contracts from MSEDCL, SECI, HAREDA, CMPDIL, and three major manufacturers. The company operates six units across Greater Noida, Kosi-Kotwan, Eco-Tech, and Madhya Pradesh.
