Amber Enterprises will invest Rs 6,000 crore to establish a large-scale electronics manufacturing facility near the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has allocated 100 acres of land in Sector 8 for the project, which lies strategically close to the new airport. The facility will focus on manufacturing PCB assemblies, home appliances, and other consumer electronics.
Uttar Pradesh's Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta confirmed the development after meeting Amber Enterprises promoter Jasbir Singh in Lucknow. He termed the investment a “significant milestone” for the state's industrial growth, noting that it will not only contribute to regional economic development but also generate substantial employment opportunities for the youth.
Gupta credited Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership for fostering a favorable investment climate, with the state aggressively pursuing industrial expansion. Amber Enterprises, a leading manufacturer of air conditioners and electronic components, is expected to significantly enhance the electronics and white goods ecosystem through this facility.
The move marks a key step in Uttar Pradesh’s strategy to emerge as a major electronics manufacturing hub.
