Direct selling FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) company Amway India has finalised Sanand in Gujarat to set up manufacturing plant in India.
The manufacturing facility will come up with an investment of Rs 400 crore. The company is likely to sought around 35 acre from the Gujarat government for about Rs 40 crore. However, the company did not disclosed the further details of the proposed project.
Also, the company has recently raised the production capacity at the contract manufacturing plant at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh by adding four new production lines Amway India currently has a vendor plant in Baddi in Himachal Pradesh.
